Google is doubling clicks and Myspace is making music

April 2008 is sure starting off with a bang!  Google completed their acquisition of double-click.  They’ve already announced that they are not only cutting 25% of double click’s work force, they they also are selling off the SEO division.  The sell off is understandable as that part of the company is in conflict with with their primary business.  At the same time, MySpace signed a deal with major record labels to launch a new music streaming and download service.  Vivendi SA’s Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group Corp have joined with MySpace to create MySpace Music.   MySpace had to settle it’s old lawsuit with Universal before this deal could go through.

With all this happening, the next thing you know, the Sirius and XM Radio will be approved.
