Yahoo Stays Mum
No big shock, but Yahoo has only a short time left to respond to Microsoft’s deadline, and it doesn’t look like they are going to. Yahoo hasn’t said a word today. We’ll probably have to wait until Monday to get Microsoft’s response. They have stated they would do an end-around by going directly to the shareholders and having them elect a board that will agree to the merger. They’ve also said they don’t need Yahoo and can do just fine on their own, thank you very much. Will we ever find out about Naomi?
