Dilbert is Back

One month ago I lost my daily Dilbert update on my iGoogle page.  The Dilbert website was obviously upgraded by the characters in his strip.  I think Wally pushed his PHB through the vendors to get the site flash-a-tized.  There’s no other explanation for what happened.  You can read about the change here: http://entertainment.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/04/19/1842208&from=rss.  In true Dilbert fashion, you’ve got to skip through the first 1/3 of the posts that degenerate way off topic into global climate change issues to actually get to good information about Dilbert.

I checked out Dilbert’s site today and found they  had created an official widget that works in iGoogle.  Woohoo!!!  Or so I thought.  I followed through the links and found that indeed it does add a widget, but it is flash-based and works just like their website.  I went back to find the slashdot posting (linked above) and found that there is a feedburner feed that allows me to put Dilbert back in my iGoogle without having to deal with flash on my homepage.  Woohoo!!!!!  It works!

If you’d like to add it, go to this page:

The Dilbert iGoogle widget is still working, and it is better than before. It works just like my previous one, except now every cartoon is in color.
